This project was designed to evaluate and improve the quality of screening and diagnostic colonoscopies in ambulatory care settings. Defined quality measures for colonoscopy were used in individual quality report cards with 15 measures created.

This study defined a knowledge base for a clinical decision support (CDS) tool and identified technology requirements for CDS design to optimize adoption of necrotizing enterocolitis prevention practices to support clinician decision making with the overall goal to improve the use of evidence-based practices for prevention and early recognition of NEC among premature infants.
This project tested a mobile health application’s impact on reducing readmissions among patients with cirrhosis within 30 days of hospital discharge, and found it to be usable and feasible.
