Clinician Summary
The US Preventive Services Task Force strongly recommends that clinicians routinely screen all sexually active women aged 25 years and younger, and other asymptomatic women at increased risk for infection, for Chlamydial infection
This reminder prompts clinicians to screen High Risk individuals who have the following recorded indicators within the electronic health record (EHR) system:
- gender is female; and
- age < 26 years old; and
- last record of Chlamydia test >12 months ago; and
- med list includes:
