The ACTS initiative aims to develop a stakeholder-driven consensus model for how care transformation toward the Quadruple Aim is unfolding nationally and use this model to design a concept demonstration and roadmap for the next-generation delivery of AHRQ evidence-based offerings to support this transformation. This roadmap will be presented to AHRQ leadership in October 2019. The central project goal is to ensure that AHRQ evidence, knowledge, and guidance resources are optimally accessible and useful to all stakeholders who can benefit from them.
To achieve this goal, the ACTS initiative has established a Stakeholder Community with scores of participants representing many different key stakeholder groups. These stakeholders are helping to develop a model of the current state of evidence-informed care delivery and transformation, a shared desired future vision, and a recommended path to get there. The ACTS project is designed so that Stakeholder Community participants realize additional benefits for their care transformation efforts beyond those associated with better access to AHRQ resources, for example, though insights and collaborations fostered by creating the project deliverables.
