The area of health IT is a dynamic environment with the constant introduction of new Federal initiatives, innovative technologies, new standards and organizations. This module provides a general introduction to the current health IT landscape. Included is an overview of both HRSA-specific and other Federal IT initiatives. The module also provides primers on different health IT technologies and resources describing the potential benefits of the use of technology in the delivery of patient care.
